Primary  &
RAD Graded Syllabus

Learning to skip and jump

5 yrs and beyond

At Primary level, we focus more on the details of ballet technique, correct positions of the feet, arms and head as well as strengthening jumps and improving balance and flexibility.

From Primary, we also begin to introduce the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus into the classes. Through this, children also have the option to work towards and enrol in the internationally recognised RAD examinations. These exams provide a beautiful opportunity for children to work towards a specific goal, to show all the progress they have made and everything they have learnt that year as well as developing perseverence and patience in the process.

Royal Academy of Dance grades progress all the way through Grade 1 - Grade 8 and beyond into more professional and vocational levels for older students who wish to take the path and persue a career in ballet.
